Our newsletter is a popular platform for promoting events, causes, creative projects and commercial services that may be of interest to our group. It goes out each week to more than 3,300 subscribers and has an open rate of 27%. Click here to view recent newsletters.

Ads are placed in the either the left or right column below our regular content. You are responsible for providing an image and providing copy. A small ad (160 x 160px) is just a square image. A medium (370 x 228px) or large (370 x 456px) ad consists of an image, a few lines of text, the relevant contact information of the advertiser and a link to an outside website. 


Our Development Director makes the decision on whether to approve or decline your request. Our Secretary is the editor of the newsletter and our Communications Director moderates our social media outlets. Send a short email to with a quick description of your organization and the promotion that you would like to run. CC and A response should come shortly.

Additional Benefits

If your ad is approved, you may also self promote in our popular Facebook group during the week(s) your ad is in the newsletter at the rate of one post per week. We recommend you make these posts engaging and conversational, as any member of the group may comment on them, and posters will be expected to answer questions about the topics they are promoting. If you're on Twitter, you may also send us a few promotional tweets and we'll retweet them. Contact our Communications Director if you have any questions. 


The PayPal form below is our preferred method of payment. It will create an account for you in our system and automatically send you a receipt. Forward the receipt to the Secretary along with the ad copy and the weeks you want it to run.

About RPCV/W

The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Washington D.C. (RPCV/W)  was founded in 1979 and incorporated in 1990 in the District of Columbia.  RPCV/W is one of the largest organizations of its kind in the world.  RPCV/W is a nonprofit 501c3 with over 1000 members and representing more than 2,500 returned Peace Corps volunteers, Peace Corps staff, and Peace Corps families and supporters in the greater Washington D.C. area. RPCV/W is governed by an elected board of directors.

To serve as a resource to RPCVs and friends in the Washington DC area through social events, community service projects, and professional development programs that embody the 3rd Goal and spirit of the Peace Corps.
